ASA Recruitment have a vacancy for a Change Management AccountantWhere: Hybrid/Forfar Job Description:ASA are looking for a dedicated Change Management Accountant to drive financial transformation initiatives within our Client's organisation. As a Change Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing strategic changes, optimising financial processes, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a strong accounting background and a passion for driving positive change.Responsibilities:Change Leadership: Lead and support financial transformation projects across the organisation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains. Drive change initiatives from inception to implementation, ensuring buy-in and alignment with stakeholders at all levels.Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to support change initiatives. Evaluate current financial processes, systems, and controls to identify areas for improvement. Utilise financial modelling techniques to assess the financial impact of proposed changes and develop business cases to support decision-making.Process Optimisation: Streamline financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control. Implement best practices and standardise processes where appropriate. Identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology to optimise work flow and reduce manual effort.Performance Measurement: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives. Track progress against goals and objectives, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Analyse performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for further improvement.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation. Collaborate with finance teams, department heads, and senior management to ensure alignment of change initiatives with business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, address concerns, and drive consensus.Training and Development: Provide training and support to finance teams and end-users to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems. Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions as needed. Monitor user feedback and address issues proactively to drive continuous improvement.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls throughout the change management process.
