Connect Appointments are seeking a reliable MIG Welder for our client based in Fraserburgh on a permanent basis.
Our client is a UK leader in the manufacture of units for the commercial vehicle market. Having been in business for over 50 years and with further growth at their sites throughout the UK they are now in a position to recruit further MIG Welders, with benefits including:

The MIG Welder will ideally be a skilled individual with previous experience in welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium using MIG. This is a workshop-based role and, as such, the ability to work within a team would be preferred. You will be working from engineering manufacturing drawings so the ability to read these is required.
Pay rates: 14.90 to 16.02 per hour
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
The successful MIG Welder will:
- Use engineering instructions for each job
- Check dimensions of materials and prepare them to be welded
- Operate welding equipment as well as precision measuring instruments
- Clean work areas and tools
- Carry out other duties relevant to the role
