Quality Technician

Red Recruitment 24:7 have an opportunity for an experienced Quality Technician for an established client in the Gainsborough area.

Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for carrying out the quality testing of manufactured products. Testing must be carried out in accordance with with the relevant test schedule – training will be provided, however you must have at least 2 years relevant Quality Testing experience.

This role is a 6 month temporary assignment, working on a rotating shift pattern of days, eves and nights.

£13 per hour (additional shift allowance on nights rotation)

25 days holiday PLUS 8 Bank Holidays 

The role:

·Collect and retain sample materials.

·Reporting equipment faults.

·Ensure documentation is completed accurately.

·Support Quality Manger and other members of the Quality team.

·Act in a timely manner to ensure waste is kept to a minimum.

The person:

·Must have experience in a Quality Testing role.

·High level of written and spoken English.

·Self motivated – some lone working is required.

·Good colour vision.

·Understanding of Health and Safety.
