Role Overview:Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Art Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to nurture students' creativity, develop their technical skills, and instill a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring art lessons that cater to the needs and interests of students.
  • Encourage experimentation and exploration across various artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to express themselves creatively.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students develop their artistic abilities and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize art exhibitions, workshops, and other enrichment activities to showcase students' work and celebrate their achievements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Art or related subject area.
  • Experience teaching art at the secondary level (NQTs are welcome to apply).
  • Passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering creativity and self-expression.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
