Retail Supervisor

Peregrine Retail - Wholey owned subsidiary of Motor Fuel Group are looking for a Full time Supervisor to join the team at Tweedbank Service station.

Work patterns will be combination of lates and early shifts and you will be required to work weekends.

You will be solely responsible for the smooth running of your shift when the management team are absent.

The job role will include but not limited to:

1.Serving of customers on the till and helping with any queries the customer or team may have.

2.Working all deliveries that arrive at site and comply with food safety laws when doing so.

3.Using office tools to scan in deliveries/invoices/wasting stock/scanning for new SEL’s.

4.You will be expected to ensure the the shop, forecourt, and back areas clean are kept clean and comply with health and safety laws

5.Being fully involved in our Promotion change process – this may include clearing promotion ends of old stock, following a planogram for the new promotions in store, supporting with new POS abd SELs required and keeping to our strict timescale with this.

6.Cash handling whilst serving customers and cashing up tills from the days shifts.

7.Following instruction from your managers and in their absent the Peregrine Retail senior team and being able to ask questions if you are unsure.

This is a fast paced moving business, so excellent time management skills are a must!

The ideal candidate will have:

·Fantastic communication skills both with senior management and the team within the store.

·A can do attitude

·A keen eye for detail

·A passion for great customer service

·Know what good looks like when it comes to a retail store

·Be able to stick to tight timescales

·Be able to management and guide a team

Supervisor experience is preferred however, full training is provided
