Financial Planning Administrator - GatesheadTempest Jones have a fantastic vacancy for a Financial Planning Administrator to join a busy firm of financial planners based in Gateshead. This is an integral and varied role and your experience in providing high quality administrative support will be invaluable to the whole team.

You will act as the point of contact for client queries with regards to pensions, investments and protection as well as liaising with product providers and covering all aspects within the general office administration to ensure a first-class service is provided to internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with providers by telephone/email in relation to new and existing business.
  • Processing new business and monitoring applications to completion.
  • Processing amendments to existing plans e.g. assignments, business terms etc.
  • Obtaining valuations and new business illustrations.
  • Accessing provider platforms.
  • Scanning and recording client files to the back-office system.
  • Daily use of IO (Intelligent Office).
  • Creation of letters and emails to clients, product providers etc.
  • Managing workflow, pipeline and diary entries.
  • Liaising with advisers and paraplanners in respect of business and client related issues.
  • Handling client contacts and providing backup support
  • Providing typing support to the directors and other regulated employees.
  • Carrying out general office duties, as required i.e. maintaining stationery and equipment supplies.
  • Maintaining business records and ensuring regular back up of data to protect business integrity.
  • Handling client telephone enquiries and those from product provider and the general public.
  • Opening, logging and scanning of the post onto the business back office system.

Role Requirements

You will ideally be experienced working in a Financial Planning firm in a back office capacity. You will be motivated, friendly and professional with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Please note: the top end of the salary banding will be for highly experienced candidates.
