GSL Education are inviting applications for a SEMH Teaching Assistant with specialized hours. This role in Newcastle supports students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring a supportive and effective educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, aiding in their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with teachers to tailor approaches for individual student needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and stable environment that enhances learning and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience or training in supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Strong understanding of the strategies effective for managing emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a resilient and patient demeanour.
