As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of passive fire protection and fire door services. You will manage all operatives and organise the resourcing of all MFEL projects. This will include managing labour and organising the timely delivery of materials and plant. You will ensure that best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that the most suitable working environment is attained for its employees and their activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring operatives produce workmanship that complies with regulatory and manufacturer standards. You will be supported by a Technical Manager. The Technical Manager will specify products and details for onsite works. They will also support you with completion checks as a secondary review on compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards.
You will also be supported by a Quantity Surveyor. The Quantity Surveyor will manage all monthly valuations, invoices, and commercial reporting. You will be required to support the Quantity Surveyor with pricing tenders and variations to ensure adequate allowances are made for labour, plant, materials, preliminaries and time (programme).

Responsibilities:

• You must Identify problems and offering solutions.
• Ensuring the Company’s QEMS procedures are followed as they relate to and offering suggestions as to their development and improvement.
• Encouraging and developing teamwork both within your team and between teams, internally
and externally.
• Have an excellent understanding and are compliant with the processes outlined in Fire
Engineering Ltd.
• Actively participating in training and continuous improvement activities for betterment of skills
and safe working practices.
