BS Social Care are working alongside a new and expanding organisation providing housing and support services to young people leaving the care system.


The organistion who you will be employed by are recognised for providing innovative services for the care leavers they support. As well as accommodation and support, the whole support package is geared towards successful move on for the young people. To this end the service has their own modern and well looked after move on properties as well as working with other housing providers and the local authority to provide the most suitable accommodation to help with move on.

You will work with the team in helping deliver any support plans that is drawn up with the residents. Due to the nature of the service, adhering to policies and risk assessments and risk management plans is a must. This service needs to be a safe service where the young people can feel comfortable to try to achieve what they set out in their support plans.

You will have had experience working in services where you have supported service users with complex needs. You will be able to evidence where you have shown resilience when confronted with challenging behaviour. Communication skills are absolutely essential in this position. You must be able to evidence past working experience of multi-discipliary team delivery as there are often multiple professionals and agencies involved with the young people here.

A relevant NVQ 3 in the health and social care CYP field would is an essential for this role and ideally, you will be able to have past experience working with young people.
