Learning Support Assistant - GateaheadThe Education Network is currently working in partnership with a 'Good' community school in Gateshead with an unrelenting focus on raising aspirations for all, in search of a Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September 2024. In order to be successful in your application, you must be confident and have some experience of supporting children to achieve their learning goals within a school setting, preferably with the secondary school age group (11-18).Essential requirements for this role:

Experience working with 11-18 year olds within the past 2 years
Have strong interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with staff and students.
Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
At least two years of work history/education which can be referenced.
A valid DBS certificate or the willingness to apply for one.
