Project Planning / Scheduling Engineer – 39596
Rate: £31.25/hr Umbrella – inside IR35
Division: Product Engineering
Contract Position based in Gaydon, Warwickshire
Key Responsibilities
- Using data analytics, understand the latest status of the production release (P-Release) and pinpoint areas of concern for further investigation
- Coordinate daily reviews with members of the programme and units to establish improvement activity to reduce lead times
- Work with Procurement teams and Engineers to get improved delivery plans from suppliers Identify alternative procurement routes / part pedigree where necessary
- Managing communications with stakeholders via the daily report out
- Ensure the issue management system is being updated, prioritised and escalated where appropriate
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
- Supporting the team in removing impediments
- Enabling team to deliver business objectives
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of Programme delivery with milestone and gateways
- Automotive experience
- Metric Development
- Automotive or relevant supply chain experience
