CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist / Gerrards Cross / Up to £44,500 (inc shift)Are you an experienced CNC Machinist? You could be progressing your career at a world class and very successful Manufacturing company who have been awarded multiple queens awards and provide a range of complex safety equipment for the Aerospace / Defence markets.Based in a busy assembly department, you will be assembling aerospace components to a high standard of quality.Location / Hours:You'll be based close to Gerrards Cross; you'll need to be able to drive there or be on close public transport links. Free parking available.Early Shift: 6:00am - 4pmLate Shift: 12:00pm - 10pmYou will only work 177 days of the yearA late shift is not followed the next day by an early shiftOn average 25 weekends are worked per yearAn employee will work both shiftsRequirements:

• Set and operate multi-axis CNC machines (Bridgeport, Hurco and Protrack)
• Edit programs at the machine
• Carry out basic maintenance on machines and tools
• Produce high quality low batch components from drawings
• Self-inspection of machined parts
• NO OFFLINE PROGRAMMING
• Several years CNC Machining experience
• Conversant with setting & operating CNC Mills & Lathe's
• Ability to confidently set and operate CNC Mills & Lathe's
• Proven Self inspection skills
• Deburring
