- Process customer orders in accordance with procedures and guidance from the Sales Office Manager and Commercial Manager.
- Issue Order Acknowledgements to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for full traceability of all orders received.
- Assist with customer order-related enquiries via telephone and email.
- Follow pricing guidelines for all quotations, enquiries, and orders in line with company policy.
- Update customer portals online with delivery dates and additional information as required.
- Handle customer complaints, process returns requests, and arrange for credit notes when necessary.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and carry out other tasks to support the efficient running of the commercial department.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Customer service training is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage one’s workload.
- Good time management and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Experience in sales order processing or data entry.
- Background in Customer Service, Manufacturing, or Engineering is desirable.
- Familiarity with EFACS system or similar ERP system is advantageous.
- Due to the location candidates MUST drive and have their own transport
- £23500-£25000 salary with discretionary bonus scheme.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 27 days after 5 years of service.

- Working hours Mon-Thur 07:30-16:30 - Friday 07:30-12:30
