Job Title: Designer - Architectural Metalwork & Structural Steelwork Specialist

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

About Us: We are an established Architectural Metalwork & Structural Steelwork specialist located in Rochester, Kent. We are currently seeking a Detailer to join our team with an excellent starting salary and opportunities for career progression. The position is based in our new office within the company facility.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Producing General Arrangement (GA) drawings in both 2D & 3D formats.
  • Creating detailing & fabrication drawings.
  • Collaborating with structural engineers and architects.
  • Conducting occasional site visits for measurements and customer interactions.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Proficient in Advanced Steel (Autodesk).
  2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Structural Steelwork and Architectural Metalwork, including balconies, canopies, and balustrade systems.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of the work being produced.
  4. Ability to issue drawings, material lists, cutting lists, and component lists.
  5. Experience in logging revisions on design trackers.
  6. Ability to inform the design manager/commercial team of design variations.
  7. Strong general IT skills.
  8. Excellent customer service skills.
