This job is no longer availableOur client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives on a Night Shift to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products. Full training will be given, so you do not need to have worked in this field before.
Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am. 46 Hours per week. Training will take place on a day shift Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm, typically for 1-3 weeks.
Main Duties
- Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
- Use of machinery and hand tools
- Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
- Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
- Quality checking products
- Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
- Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment.
- A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
- A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
- You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
- Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
