iMultiply is supporting this exciting business in their search for a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their finance team based in Glasgow. This role is offered on a full time permanent basis.

The Role
The Newly Qualified Accountant will be part of a team providing support across the business. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible and valuable contribution to the company and how they operate.Responsibilities include:• Preparing financial information to a trial balance level ready to be used for statutory accounts including supporting schedules and analysis of movements• Preparing consolidation entries for group accounts• Preparing financial statements for the group entities as well as the consolidated financial statements• Overseeing annual audit process, acting as main point of contact withexternal auditors and tax advisors• Preparing annual tax returns• Performing balance sheet account reconciliations• Research and resolve any reconciling items on a monthly basis• Evaluating entries for completeness and accuracy• Reviewing general ledger activity, analysing and correcting account discrepancies• Assist the finance function with ad hoc projects as required• Working closely with the wider finance team to resolve any financial reporting queries in a timely and effective manner

What’s on offer
This full time role offers a salary up to £50,000.
