Meraki Talent is currently recruiting a detail-oriented and organised Sales Ledger Clerk to join one of our clients in Glasgow. The Sales Ledger Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, invoicing customers, and ensuring timely payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue sales invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Process customer payments and allocate them to the appropriate accounts.
  • Reconcile sales ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment reminders.
  • Assist with credit control activities to minimise overdue payments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment inquiries.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date sales ledger records.
  • Generate reports on sales ledger activity as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Experience with credit control processes is a plus.
