Our successful and forward-thinking Consultancy client is now seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer to provide leadership within their Water team in Glasgow.

Offering services such as flood protection design, water supply, river modelling, coastal flood risk assessment, and support services for dams and reservoirs, the business offers a collaborative working environment and the chance to work on some interesting projects. 

Candidates for the Principal Engineer role should possess:

- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, potentially complemented by a master's degree.
- Chartered Engineer status, with membership in ICE or CIWEM.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in the field.
- Proven management skills for deliverables and client interactions.
- Proficiency in report writing and communication.
- Familiarity with DMRB, Scottish Water, and other national design standards.
- Expertise in MicroDrainage, Causeway, InfoDrainage, Civils3D, and BIM tools.
- A keen interest in team leadership and the mentorship of graduates.
