Permanent vacancy - Project Engineer
Salary - £18.39 per hour

Shift patterns below - Monday - Friday
Our client based in Hillington, are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their Continuous Improvement team which is part of a very busy and growing business and successful business. Please see below for more information
Shift patterns as follows;
Day shifts; Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 4.15pm Friday - 7.45am - 3.15pm
Backshift; Monday - Wednesday 10.55am - 21.25pm Thursday 12.55pm - 22.25pm (20% overtime rate applies)
Key Responsibilities, but not exclusive too
To assist Engineering manager in implementing process and engineering improvements to enhance the engineering capabilities, output and, critically, the quality of our product into the market.
Duties and responsibilities
* To supervise and advise on the application and quality of work undertaken by the Maintenance team on projects
* To provide assistance in carrying out repairs and servicing to company equipment when required
* Liaise with Engineering Manager on progressing work
* Ensure good working standards are maintained throughout projects
* Organise workshop project area to ensure it is clean, tidy and the workspace is properly utilised
* Any other work requested by a manager
* Ensure that the company maintenance standards and procedures are followed
* Effectively utilise all engineering staff
* Ensure all relevant paperwork is complete
Responsible for personal and general factory health and safety in line with the company health and safety policy outlined in the Company Handbook.
