Our client, a leading principal contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their dynamic team in the Glasgow for a 6-12 weeks duration to delivering a major Civil Engineering projects.  Our client is at the forefront of delivering diverse Civil Engineering projects in collaboration with Transport Scotland and highway experience is desired.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing RAMS.
  •  
  • Checking setting out for work.
  • Quality check as built drawings.
  • Ensure that safety targets and standards are always maintained.
  • Administration and record keeping of Quality Assurance systems on site.
  • Ensure that paperwork is maintained and accurate.

 

What you can expect:

  • Immediate start.
  • Guaranteed work for 6 -12 weeks possibly longer.
  • Competitive rates depending on experience.
  • Payment method - PAYE

 

You must have the following:

 

  • Minimum of HNC level qualification or equivalent in civil engineering.
  • Previous civil engineering experience in a contracting environment is essential.
  • Experience working on highway projects is desired.
  • Experience of Trimble or Leica is desired.
  • Experience using CAD based programs is essential.
  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS.
