Your new companyA very established global manufacturing business which is going through a period of growth.

Your new roleTo plan customer orders from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting the Company in a professional manner. Plan customer orders using capacity and material planning tools. Maintain and develop Enterprise Resource Planning. Co-ordinate key customer accounts, reporting on service level performance and delivery performance in line with departmental and contractual agreements. Direct order placing liaising with customers and suppliers. Prepare quotations including negotiating prices in conjunction with external sales staff. Liaise with internal departments communicating customers' requirements. Liaise with internal and external customers on areas for improvement, through to implementation. Manage relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service. Manage projects progress to ensure completion to plan.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate has strong communication skills with high levels of attention to detail. Good organisational skills and an ability to support cross-functional meetings are key skills. Proficiency in the use of computer planning is a requirement of this role. Planning experience working in an ERP environment. Commercial awareness with knowledge of contractual terms and conditions. Extensive customer service experience (min. 5 years) managing stakeholders' expectations. Excellent communication and negotiation (both spoken and written) with strong analytical skills. Experience working as part of a team, encouraging team culture and promoting continuous improvement. Demonstrate exceptional computer skills, proficient in D365/Dynamics AX or similar. Advanced excel user. Good understanding of the supply chain, with experience of freight forwarding.What you'll get in returnThis position is Monday - Friday and 12.30pm on a Friday. A salary of up to £30,000 plus a non-contractual bonus.
