Our client, an innovative manufacturing company, seek to appoint an electrically biased Commissioning Technician. You will be responsible for electrical testing & commissioning various air handling (AHU) installations. Wiring & Fixing Actuator Motors, Sensors & Switches etc. Fault finding and correction of AHU control systems and carrying out Pre-Commissioning Electrical Checks.
This is a predominately site based role with UK travel and will require overnight stays away from home. A full UK Driving Licence is required as company van provided. Must be flexible with a hands-on approach to working on your own initiative with minimum supervision or within a project team. CSCS/Skills Card required.

Commissioning Technician - Role and Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Electrical testing & commissioning various air handling (AHU) installations.
- Wiring & Fixing Actuator Motors, Sensors & Switches etc.
- Fault finding and correction of AHU control systems and carrying out Pre-Commissioning Electrical Checks.
- Responding to customer contact in a timely and structured manner. Good personal presentation and attention to detail.
- Travelling to customer facilities UK wide to commission equipment.
Commissioning Technician – Skills & Experience
- Previous controls and commissioning experience.
- Fault finding and fit experience.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Excellent Technical knowledge of HVAC Control Systems and Air Handling Units.
- Excellent customer service skills and a sense of initiative when prioritising workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence as company van provide and ability to travel throughout UK (will require overnight stays away from home).
- CSCS / Skills Card required.
