Our client, an innovative manufacturing company, seek to appoint an electrically biased Commissioning Technician. You will be responsible for electrical testing & commissioning various air handling (AHU) installations. Wiring & Fixing Actuator Motors, Sensors & Switches etc. Fault finding and correction of AHU control systems and carrying out Pre-Commissioning Electrical Checks.

This is a predominately site based role with UK travel and will require overnight stays away from home. A full UK Driving Licence is required as company van provided. Must be flexible with a hands-on approach to working on your own initiative with minimum supervision or within a project team. CSCS/Skills Card required.

Commissioning Technician - Role and Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Electrical testing & commissioning various air handling (AHU) installations.
  • Wiring & Fixing Actuator Motors, Sensors & Switches etc.
  • Fault finding and correction of AHU control systems and carrying out Pre-Commissioning Electrical Checks.
  • Responding to customer contact in a timely and structured manner. Good personal presentation and attention to detail.
  • Travelling to customer facilities UK wide to commission equipment.

Commissioning Technician – Skills & Experience

  • Previous controls and commissioning experience.
  • Fault finding and fit experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Excellent Technical knowledge of HVAC Control Systems and Air Handling Units.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a sense of initiative when prioritising workload.
  • Full UK Driving Licence as company van provide and ability to travel throughout UK (will require overnight stays away from home).
  • CSCS / Skills Card required.
