An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contract Claims Specialist to join the team with our prestigious client, this is a hybrid role that can be worked out of their site in Glasgow or Crawley
Job Description
The Quantum Specialist will be responsible for estimating the financial impacts arising from changes, variations and unforeseen circumstances during project delivery, including disputes over additional costs, valuation of variations, and compensation for delay and additional works.
This entails:
• Preparing analysis, cost estimates and contractual advice in relation to contract changes, including delay and disruption matters
• For delay events, coordinating with the project team to prepare recommendations for extension of time and compensation event claims to be submitted to the client
• Assisting in the drafting of claims against the contractors for extensions of time and cost compensation.
The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of change in complex technology/engineering projects, including extension of time and compensation claims.
The individual will have experience in analysing programmes and identifying irregularities and discrepancies relating to time, cost and resource in complex contractor technology-based programme involving hardware, software and system integration activities.
Recognising the restricted nature of the work there is a requirement for the candidate to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance for this role.
