A team of market leading Ground-Gas Monitoring specialists based near Glasgow are seeking an enthusiastic Geo-environmental Engineer (/Engineering Geologist) to join the expanding team on a variety of exciting monitoring, risk assessment and verification projects. With 3 offices across the UK and a strong client basis allowing for continuous and varied work, this opportunity will provide a chance to develop your geo-environmental knowledge into a niche specialism.

The Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be managing the continued growth of the Scotland based office - supporting wider business development, team operations and project managing. You'll be regularly liaising with clients, preparing fee proposals and working on site from time-to-time monitoring, sampling and mentoring junior team members.

Therefore the Geo-environmental Engineer successful in their application will:

  • Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant, with a good level of gas and ground water monitoring experience.
  • Have a degree in geology, geoscience, earth science or a relevant subject.
  • Have project and line management experience.
  • Ideally having previously mentored junior members.
  • Hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
  • Live commutable to Glasgow.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
