Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

Lead a and develop a finance team of six.
Own the month-end process and deliver accurate group consolidation, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and setting the benchmark for financial excellence.
Partner with senior leadership by providing insightful analysis of monthly financial performance and delivering actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions.
Craft the Group Update presented to the Board, distilling complex financial data into compelling insights that influence business direction.
Take control of working capital management, producing precise cash flow forecasts that support operational agility and financial stability.
Lead the annual budget cycle and rolling forecasts, aligning financial planning with the company's strategic goals.
Manage the external audit process with confidence, acting as the primary liaison to ensure efficient, timely, and clean year-end audits.
Champion process improvement, streamlining financial systems, reporting, and controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Profile

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

Fully qualified accountant.
Strong exp in group financial consolidation and reporting.
Proven ability to lead and manage finance teams effectively.
Comprehensive understanding of all transactional finance functions.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic organisation.

Job Offer

This role offers a competitive salary between £60,000-£65,000 plus wider benefits.
