Job Opportunity: Experienced General Foreman - Civil Groundworks Project in Glasgow

Our client, a leading industry supplier of Construction, Logistics, and Maintenance services across the UK, is seeking an experienced General Foreman for a civil groundworks project in Glasgow. This role is set for a period of 3 - 4 months, with a possibility of long-term work.

Essential Requirements:

  • CSCS and SMSTS Certification: Required for site access and safety compliance.
  • Background in Civil Engineering Groundworks: Proven experience in civil engineering groundworks is essential.
  • Experience in Delivering Toolbox Talks: Must be adept at conducting toolbox talks and driving the project forward.
  • Site Team Management: Experienced in managing site teams and overseeing plant and squads.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Able to provide solutions to challenges on site efficiently.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Strong awareness and adherence to health and safety procedures at all times.

What’s on Offer:

  • Immediate Start: Begin work right away.
  • Contract Duration: 3 – 4 months with a possibility of extension.
  • Hourly Rates: £28 - £30 per hour (gross) depending on experience.
  • Payment Options: Choose between PAYE or CIS.
