FPS are recruiting for an experienced Estimator for our prestigious construction client in the Glasgow area.

A construction company known for excellence. Due to continued growth within the business, they are looking to add to their Estimating team.

Overview:

• Location: Glasgow
• Salary: 45,000 - 55,000

Role: Estimator Contribute to our project success by preparing precise cost estimates and competitive bids.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse project specs and drawings
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Evaluate costs and develop budgets
• Mitigate risks and recommend strategies
• Present estimates to clients
• Stay updated on industry trends
• Participate in bid negotiations

Qualifications:

• A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related subject
• Proven construction Estimator experience - preferably with a Main Contractor
• Analytical and math skills
• Estimation software proficiency
• Strong communication and negotiation
• Attention to detail
• Construction knowledge
• Team player
