Freight Forwarder

Your new companyOur client is a well established company who provides logistics and storage solutions to their customers in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Your new roleTo ensure a complete freight forwarding service that compliments the wider business, with a focus on export and import customs processes. Coordinate the day-to-day customs operations and ensure all quotation requests are dealt with in a timely manner. To arrange both import and export consignments via Air, Courier, Ocean or Road with their extensive list of agents/partners. PO Board Management following agreed company procedures. To record all shipments via our inhouse software system (Multi-freight). Timely invoicing to our client base ensuring 100% accuracy. Customs processes across all modes of transport, and customer service and follow-up. Daily P&L updates and accurate and timely customer invoicing.What you'll need to succeedBe an effective team player and carry out a role in line with company values. Competence with all transport modes. Competence with customs and uphold service standards. Consistent profitable work.What you'll get in returnThe salary on offer is between £28,000 and £35,000 DOE. This is a Monday to Friday position working from 0900-1700.
