Handyman

Join a reputable manufacturing company in Glasgow as a Handyman on a temporary basis. We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to support our client's operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a friendly team in a manufacturing environment.

What you will get in your new role

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 weeks. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9 am until 3 pm. On offer is an excellent pay rate of 12.50 per hour, paid on a weekly basis, with holiday pay accrued. You can also enjoy complimentary on-site parking.

Responsibilities in your new role as Handyman

Key responsibilities include creating demo boards, cutting items with hand and power tools, monitoring stock levels and assembling client packs. You will also be tasked with keeping the yard clean and tidy, ensuring general housekeeping in and around the building, and handling any other maintenance tasks as needed. You may also be required to participate in heavy-lifting activities.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a handyman and skilled labourer, with a strong emphasis on health and safety. While a CSCS card is not required, proficiency in using both hand and power tools is essential. We are seeking someone who is not afraid to get their hands dirty and can effectively tackle various tasks.
