Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing Expert Guidance:Collaborate with the broader people team to offer comprehensive advice and guidance on various employee relation matters.
- Training and Coaching:Conduct training sessions and provide coaching to line managers, equipping them with the necessary skills to handle employee relations issues effectively.
- Disciplinary and Grievance Management:Offer counsel and support in disciplinary and grievance investigations, ensuring fair and consistent procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Generalist HR Support:Deliver generalist HR support to all divisions within the organization, serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers alike.
- Absence Management:Assist in managing long-term absences, working closely with individuals and relevant stakeholders to facilitate a smooth return-to-work process.
- Employee Engagement Projects:Participate in initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement, contributing ideas and support to enhance workplace culture and morale.
- Welfare Programme Support:Provide support to employees through the company's welfare programme, offering assistance and resources to address personal and professional challenges.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in an employee relations role, demonstrating proficiency in handling various HR challenges.
- Legal and Best Practice Knowledge: Thorough understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Influence and Initiative: Strong influencing skills coupled with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative in driving HR initiatives forward.
