My client is a leading manufacturer of products for the FMCG sector, with an enviable client list both in the UK and overseas. As a result of a major capital investment they have identified the requirement for a Process Improvement Consultant to join them and enhance the production capacity of their plant, this is an exciting opportunity for a ambitious production/process individual to have a genuine impact on the business.

You will have responsibility for driving through continuous improvement initiatives across the plant covering all major operational aspects of the production process. You will be using a range problem solving skills (5s Kanban etc) to drive through efficiencies through the production and distribution operations. Other duties will encompass assisting department heads in the identification of new technologies that will drive the organisation forward. You will have formal six sigma training to at least yellow belt level at least HND qualified and have worked in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
