Responsibilities in your new role as Operations Administrator

  • Provide daily administrative support: data entry, filing, document preparation, and record maintenance.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication to address operational issues promptly.
  • Generate reports and analyse operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support facility maintenance administration, including document management and tender invitations.
  • Administer contractor and visitor access requests with the retail support manager and security team.
  • Track operational budget expenditures, process POs/work orders, and assist with invoice processing.
  • Assist with budgeting and reporting.
  • Provide basic IT support, troubleshooting issues and escalating to the IT service provider as needed.

Your personality, experienceand qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Operations Administrator role should have previous experience in administrative or operational support roles, strong written and verbal communication skills, and an analytical mindset to interpret data and provide insights. A detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate records is preferred, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential, and previous experience dealing with invoices would be advantageous.
