They work with household names in the defence and marine sectors and work on major global projects, due to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their project team.In this autonomous position, you'll be an integral part of a close-knit project team, focusing on design and production for shipping and heavy lift operations for significant projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. As a Naval architect, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, senior leadership, and various departments. While your primary workspace will be in an office setting with flexible arrangements, occasional travel and stays away from home will be part of the role.

This dynamic role would suit a Naval Architect looking for an autonomous and varied role within a well-established yet growing company where you will work on cutting edge projects and can increase your earnings through a bonus.The Role:

  • Work on cutting edge projects
  • Design processes and work on specialist software
  • Oversee heavy lift and shipping operations
  • Liaise with customers, clients, other departments and stakeholders
  • Monday-Friday flexible role
  • Oversee site based works
  • Occasional nationwide and international travel

The Person:

  • Naval Architect or similar
  • Marine background
  • Commutable to Glasgow
