Your new companyOne of Scotland's larger firms of accountants, providing a full range of services to clients including internal and external audit, corporate and personal taxation, payroll outsourcing, business support, corporate finance, and consultancy services. This high-profile and rapidly growing organisation is looking for an Office Manager to support their successful team in their Glasgow office. Your new roleAre you a highly experienced professional capable of leading the office environment, facilities, maintenance and Health + Safety functions? Then this busy and varied role is for you!You will be comprehensively managing the admin support service and providing appropriate admin support to partners. This includes managing the reception and switchboard, providing meeting support, and the mail service requiring enthusiasm and excellent customer service skills from the successful candidate. You will ensure the office is fully operational and an enjoyable working environment for staff. This includes reviewing preferred supplier services, formalising procurement processes, annually reviewing the office facilities and taking staff feedback onboard to propose improvements to the SLT. You will be the Chair of the Health + Safety Committee, ensuring all legislative compliance is in place and up to date, the Fire Alarm protocol is fit for purpose, and that office security is reviewed regularly. With a workforce of hybrid employees, several satellite office locations and a professional services culture, the successful candidate must be a pragmatic decision maker, solutions focussed and ensure the office space meets the requirements of staff and visitors.This is a 100% office-based role, working 5/4 days a week from 9am to 5pm. What you'll need to succeed

  • Be a confident communicator.
  • Educated to HND level in Business Administration (desirable).
  • Proven facilities/H&S management experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Strong administrative and IT skills.
  • Dedication and enthusiastic attitude.
