Jenson Fisher, have been engaged, by a rapidly expanding organisation based in North Lanarkshire to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced Payroll candidate who wants to develop their payroll skills, work autonomously and be part of a small friendly payroll team. My client offers a fantastic, relaxed and informal work culture, and the opportunity to work from home 3 days per week, and 2 days in the office.The main duties:

End to end payroll experience in a high-volume environment
Dealing with a wide range of client queries
Checking and ensuring all payroll information is accurate
Liaising with HMRC
Processing new starters and leavers
Processing SSP, SMP, SPP
Generating payroll reports
RTI submission
Auto-enrolment
Working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The main requirements:

Full end to end payroll experience is essential
Experience of Sage is preferred
Highly proficient in Excel
A proactive, self-starter
Strong team player
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
