Quantity Surveyor

GS3 Recruitmentare looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor for our client based in Glasgows west end. Candidatewill play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our clients demolition projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, with a focus on demolition, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cost estimates, preparing budgets, and tender documents for demolition projects.
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost forecasting and monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluating subcontractor quotations and negotiating contracts to achieve the best value for the company.
• Managing the financial aspects of demolition projects, including progress payments, variations, and final accounts.
• Providing timely and accurate reports on project finances to senior management.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing value engineering initiatives where appropriate.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
