Our client is a Housing Association who is seeking a Maintenance Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with Housing/Property Maintenance experience. You will visit the housing stock to inspect, assess and record all information necessary to produce tender documentation for a range of programmed works. At this stage you will have the responsibility to liaise with individual tenants and staff regarding tenant's choice and impact on tenants during works.

You will be required to keep an accurate record of the planned programme of works and any variations, in addition you will assist with the prioritisation of works including seasonal programming. The post could also involve the provision of assistance to existing staff with the on-site supervision of contractors and the inspection and certification of completed works.

The role will be suited to an organised individual with a sound technical background and knowledge of construction which can be applied to these areas of activity. A background in Housing and Housing Maintenance will also be appreciated by our client, also the successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
