We are looking for a talented and experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our clients team. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete scope of contract control systems for industrial machinery, including:
- Full-scale PLC programming
- HMI design
- SCADA feedback
- Automation control
- Customer/supplier liaison
- Testing
- Commissioning support
- Aftermarket modifications
- Product development
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain PLC control systems for industrial machinery
- Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that the company's commitments are met
- Attend and participate in operational/engineering review meetings
- Work with internal teams to efficiently execute all scheduled contract deliverables
- Provide site commissioning assistance as required
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare and generate relevant engineering report documentation
Requirements:
- Experience with PLC design and programming, HMI design, SCADA feedback, and automation control
- Experience with Siemens/AB systems
- Strong understanding of electrical control systems and root cause problem solving techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and proactive approach to working
- Customer-focused, professional attitude
Qualifications:
- Trained/qualified electrical engineer with HNC/Degree level qualification
- Experience with Siemens/AB systems
- Background in root cause problem solving techniques for electrical control systems
