Reed Accountancy's client is offering an exciting opportunity within the Supply Chain Finance team. The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in controlling freight costs, validating carrier invoicing, and resolving invoicing issues. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, can prioritise their workload, and delivers with high accuracy.
Day to Day of the role:- Validate supplier invoicing and liaise externally to resolve invoice queries.
- Prepare weekly KPI dashboards to support the Operations Team & Clients.
- Prepare monthly reporting packs for Clients, ensuring costs are captured accurately.
- Prepare Client freight charges for inclusion in their monthly billing.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects.
- Extensive training will be provided to facilitate learning and development in the role.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Solid time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise workload.
