Heels & Brogues Recruitment are working with a world known client to expand their Coffee Senior Field Service Engineer team.

Job Title: Senior Field Service Engineer

Salary: £36,000 (OTE £60,000) plus an annual bonus of 5%

Location: Glasgow/ Edinburgh

Benefits for the Field Service Engineer:

·25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

·Weekly overtime rate is £22.50 per hour after 47.5 hours

·Weekend overtime rate is £22.50 per hr

·Bank holiday overtime rate is £30 per hr plus an additional £50 standby

·40 hours standard working week plus 2.5 hours per week unpaid lunch break. Plus 5 hours travelling time paid at £10 per hour

·Non-Contributory company pension scheme (company pays 10%)

·Death in Service. 4 times annual salary to nominated persons

·Full training supplied although must have previous experience in electrical and engineering from previous employment.

As a Coffee Senior Field Service Engineer, you will receive full training before joining the 1-4 weekend rota, allowing you to become an integral part of our team.


They are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Coffee Senior Field Service Engineer to join their team; however, experience in another electro-mechanical field service role would be considered.

Main duties and responsibilities for a Senior Field Service Engineer:

·To drive, develop and support a team of engineers

·Provide expert advice and mentoring to team of engineers within the field to develop

engineer’s technical competencies through on-site visits and 1 to 1’s giving constructive

feedback accordingly

·To ensure that the area engineer KPI’s are on track with plans being put in place to address

shortfalls in conjunction with the Service Team Manager

·To attend break down calls/escalated calls either with or without local engineer in attendance on escalated calls

·To install, commission and set up the companies Commercial Coffee equipment

·To ensure the area engineer’s van inventories are updated with relevant spare parts for the

local machine estate with parts being booked in and out correctly

·Audit engineer spares, on site practices, vans, tools, PPE, machine software versions, technical updates

·Ensure engineers full understanding and compliance with all the company policies,

procedures and processes

·Liaise with the Scheduling team daily for efficient route planning of allocated engineers

·Carry out annual stock takes with allocated engineers

·Liaise with the Technical Team for upgrades and enhancements on equipment in the field

·Bi-annual team meetings run in collaboration with the Team Service Manager

·To manage and supply timely paperwork, including full completion of service reports

Requirements for Senior Field Service Engineer:

·Proven track record in driving and developing a team of engineers

·Strong electro-mechanical knowledge

·Professional in nature, strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team, colleagues and customers to represent the business in a positive manner

·Relevant industry experience on bean to cup coffee equipment (desired but not essential)

·Coffee knowledge (desired but not essential)

·Flexibility is a requirement for this field-based role

·To be included on a 1 in 4 weekend call rota including bank holidays to cover the field and technical support

·Good organisational and problem-solving skills

Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 in 4 Weekend)
