Mac Recruit Group are delighted to represent our client who provide the worlds most advanced and sophisticated technology led manufacturing and engineering services. Sheet Metal Workers are required to join the team and their Glasgow site; this is on a full time and permanent basis.
Sheet Metal Worker Duties:
- Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
- Working to engineering standards, striving for quality right first time
- Using a range of hand tools
- Hand skills required for manufacturing & installation purposes
- Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawing
Sheet Metal Worker Requirements:
- Trade papers - formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers)
- Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness and manufacturing processes
- Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height
- Safety certification i.e., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc
- Background in major construction / manufacturing environment
Sheet Metal Worker Shifts:
- Monday – Friday
- 37-hour flexible day shift

Sheet Metal Worker Overtime rates:
- Monday – Thursday: Time and a 3rd
- Friday: Time and a half for the first 4 hours, and double time for anything thereafter
- Saturday: Time and a half
- Sunday: Double time
