What you will get in your new role
This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 weeks. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 8 am until 4 pm. On offer is an excellent pay rate of 12.00 per hour, paid on a weekly basis, with holiday pay accrued. You can also enjoy complimentary on-site parking.
Responsibilities in your new role as a Warehouse Picker Packer
This role is fast-paced and physically demanding, involving the movement of boxes, pallets, and other items. Responsibilities include order picking, packing for dispatch, and replenishing stocks. You will also be responsible for completing dispatch paperwork for customers, businesses, and couriers, as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the warehouse. Additionally, you will perform various hygiene tasks and undertake ad hoc warehouse duties as needed. Loading and unloading vans and booking courier deliveries on a web-based program are also part of the role.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We are looking for someone with a neat appearance, exceptional punctuality, and basic PC skills (knowledge of Word and Outlook is essential). The ideal candidate will have a proactive can-do attitude and be ready to contribute to a busy, expanding business environment. You should be capable of working independently or as part of a team and be willing to work additional hours as needed. Reliability, attention to detail, and physical fitness are also essential attributes.
