The below job description will outline this position of: Mechanical Controls Technician (Subsea)

Typically, this person will Interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment for high-pressure systems. Service, repair, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, including pumps, motors, and control valves. Maintain detailed reports and records, support multidisciplinary tasks, and ensure the upkeep of subsea controls equipment.

Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Technician (Subsea):

Competence in carrying out maintenance and repairs on subsea controls equipment.

Ability to build and modify subsea controls equipment.

Ability to overhaul and test various mechanical components.

Experience with high-pressure and pressure-generating equipment.

Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.

Experience with hydro testing and flushing equipment.

Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Technician (Subsea):

Relevant technical certification or degree.

Previous experience in a similar role within the subsea controls industry.

Familiarity with Work Over Control Systems, reels, umbilicals, sheaves, pumps, and pressure-containing vessels.
