KPJ Group are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join chemical distribution company at their site based in Glossop.

The candidate we are looking for will possess prior experience operating as a mechanical fitter and will have served time as an apprentice.

What’s on offer?

£36,200 per year
Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
Overtime available 1.5x
Annual pay increases

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?

Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
Assembling and disassembling mechanical components and machinery
Installing mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, and valves
Aligning and adjusting mechanical components to ensure proper operation
Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery
Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing solutions
Fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical components
Operating hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and saws
Performing regular maintenance on mechanical equipment
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards

What do you need?

Experience operating as a mechanical fitter
Trained as an apprentice
Chemical experience (desirable)
