SF Recruitment are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for a well established organisation who have grown in recent years through acquisition. My client is seeking a part qualified accountant with good excel skills who is able to work with large sets of data, from which they are able to manipulate, analyse and draw meaningful conclusions.

As Management Accountant you will help produce the month end management accounts. You will support the analysis of the results and explain variances to budget and forecasts. You will also look to deliver process improvement and help improve the month end timetable.

My client is looking for an ambitious and inquisitive individual who will be comfortable helping to improve processes, systems and procedures and you will be involved in rolling cashflow forecasts, along with supporting the forecasting and budgeting process.

Requirements
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
- Provide detailed revenue and costs variance analysis for budget holders across the business.
- Support with accurate divisional reporting and analysis
- Provide analytical support to the senior management team
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsible for financial year end audit packs, statutory reporting and liaising with auditors
- Support the budgeting / forecasting process, providing information and analysis
- Ability to provide detailed excel spreadsheet modelling
- Prepare rolling cashflow and profit & loss forecasts
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns

Other ad hoc duties as required
Key Skills / Qualifications

- Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) 
- Knowledge of Sage 200 a distinct advantage 
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Good Excel Skills
