Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £15.00
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an accomplished Credit Controller to manage customer retention accounts and ensure timely payments of debt. The successful candidate will have a strong background in credit control, debt recovery, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to ensure timely payment of debts and resolve any issues causing delayed payments.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Production teams to address and resolve any issues that may impede collections activity based on agreed payment terms.
- Coordinate with other departments as necessary, gathering supporting information.
- Update internal systems and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare aged debt reports for review by the wider Commercial, Operational, and Finance teams.
- Adhere to appropriate credit management controls.
- Handle any additional duties as assigned by the Head of Credit.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in credit control, debt recovery, and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to debt collections.
- Proficient in using internal systems and recording information accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various departments.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
