Production Operative's - Gloucester, GL1 - Temporary to Permanent for the right person - 12.70 per hour - 37.5 hour week
We have an exciting opportunity for a number of experienced Manufacturing Operatives to join a company based in Gloucester, on a temporary to permanent (for the right people).
** Hours required **
- Either Monday to Wednesday 6am til 4pm and Thursdays 6am til 1.30pm - Fridays is paid at overtime if you would like to work more hours
OR
- Weekly rotating Monday to Thursday 6am til 2pm then the following week 2pm til 10 - Every Friday is an early finish
The role's will involve:
- Setting and Operating material cutting machines
- Working from production sheets (alphanumeric)
- Measuring materials: tap measures
- Working with chemicals
- Loading and unloading machinery
- Deburring
- Quality checking:visual, using micrometers and verniers
- Working to production targets
The successful Production Operatives will need to have the following:
- A good level of English both written and verbal
- Good computer skills
- Previous exposure to a production environment
- Machine operating would be preferred
- Able to read measurements
