Typical shift as a bank Housing Concierge
- There is so much more involved than just (night working), stuck in an office monitoring CCTV or patrolling the premises.
- The first line of support for our customers when our wider team or their own support network aren’t around to help!
- You’ll manage the health and safety of the building, patrolling to check fire doors, making sure everything is locked and secure.
- Thinking on your feet and manage a situation on the spot, such as investigating suspicious activity or raising the alarm when we need to engage the emergency services.
- Finally, if there is time, you’ll also help us make sure that everything is clean and tidy, so you need to be ok with wielding the mop or broom as well!
- Everyone on the team gets involved in the cleaning and sometimes decorating of our void properties, so when there is a quiet spell, you won’t be bored!
Some of our customers are night owls too and so enjoy engaging and interacting with our concierge team during the night, this can be when we have some of our most important interactions with our customers, on their watch!

You bring

Our team
You’ll join our wider services in The Midlands region, and the great thing is you can pick up shifts in any of these services that need it! Currently we have hours available in across our Gloucestershire locations! Our team are all super passionate about what we do! We’re a supportive bunch, and between us have hobbies and interests including walking, mycology and socialising!
Job details
- Flexible working hours
- We’re looking for you to work across Gloucestershire which include our services in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Stroud.
- Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, completing mandatory learning and keeping in touch with colleagues.
- You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
