HR Operations Manager

Contract: Fixed Term - 6 months.

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for delivering high-quality operational services and driving continuous improvement? We are seeking an HR Operations Manager to lead a small team and ensure the smooth running of HR processes across the organisation.

for the first month this role will be on site, thereafter hybrid working on offer

Salary circa 42,500

About the Role

As HR Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the HR Operations team to deliver accurate and timely HR services.
  • Oversee payroll processes for UK and international staff.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and data protection requirements.
  • Drive improvements in HR systems and processes, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programmes.
  • Provide reporting and insights on HR metrics and statutory requirements.
  • Support organisational projects such as engagement surveys and restructures.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Ideally is CIPD Level 7 qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Has strong experience managing HR operations and payroll.
  • Understands UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Has excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Is confident using HR systems and analysing data.
  • Can travel to different sites as required
