Responsibilities:
- Assist with loading of vehicles, ensuring correct products and quantities are in order.
- Ensure compliance with standard warehouse and transport operating procedures.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment within the warehouse.
- Conduct stock control and associated stock checks, ordering and maintaining stock levels.
- Organise warehouse facilities, ensuring both the warehouse and outside yard are always tidy and accessible.
- Input inward goods and manage documentation and returns to suppliers.
- Drive forklift and stack/rack new stock.
Requirements:
- Forklift Counterbalance Certificate.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role or working in a builder's merchant (Essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic computer and data input skills.
Further information:
- Day shift: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:30, & Friday 07:00-16:00.
- Pay: 30,000 per year
- 1x 30-minute lunch break
